The fifth DVLA auction of cherished number plates was held recently at The Haycock Hotel,Peterborough on the 24th,25th and 26th of September 2008. 1500 numbers were in the catalogue although 238 of these did not sell on the day.top performing registration number was 6 B which brought a bid in excess of £100,000 net of auctioneers commission,value added taxes and transfer fees.
