When you think of the go kart you might first think of those old go kart race tracks you used to drive on when you were a kid. Back in the hay day of the arcade it was common for the bigger arcades like Grand Prix Race-a-Rama and Blockbuster Golf-and-Games (isn’t it odd how all of these arcades used to use hyphenated names?) to have go kart tracks somewhere on the grounds. Go kart racing was a popular kid’s thing and you would find many a summer camp bringing all of their children out to the tracks to have some fun.

Go kart racing isn’t just for the kids anymore, at least that is what Go Karts Central would have you believe. In fact, go kart racing has never been just for the kids. Go kart racing is a popular adult recreational activity and there are even a few go kart adult racing leagues.
